Squido's Sprint Crosshair
Adjusts the sprint crosshair to be added onto your crosshair, rather than replacing it, allowing you to see your spread and other survivor specific THANGS like FS' Spikes.
Additionally, allows you to color the crosshair itself while sprinting. The color is configurable, but by default uses a similar color to the sprint icon in the bottom right next to your abilities.
(NEW!) Additionally^2 allows you to increase the spread of your crosshair while sprinting if you don't like the arrow OR the coloring option (but both can also be used alongside this option!)
Fully customizable, with built in manually adjusted default configs for all vanilla survivors, and additions made for any modded survivors :D
Config
Supports RiskOfOptions (optional)
Otherwise edit
BepInEx/config/FluxSquido.SquidosSprintCrosshair.cfg.
General (applies to everyone)
- Enabled - Enable or disable the mod entirely
- Max Opacity - how visible the arrow is while sprinting (0 to 1).
- Fade In Seconds / Fade Out Seconds - how long it takes for the crosshair to fade in/out, by default off entirely.
Crosshair Coloring
- Crosshair Sprint Color - the global hex color (RRGGBB, default A3E3FF) that the crosshair tints to for any survivor with Color Crosshair turned on. Has to be manually edited in the cfg file because Risk Of Options doesn't support it. The color you pick is shared, but which survivors use it is per-survivor.
Global Crosshair Behaviors (turns an option on for every character at once. While one is on, each survivor's own matching option is grayed out, and their settings are kept for when you turn it back off)
- Color Crosshair For All Characters - turns Color Crosshair on for every character.
- Increase Spread For All Characters - turns Increase Spread While Sprinting on for every character. Each survivor's Spread Increase Multiplier still controls how much.
- Remove Sprint Crosshair For All Characters - turns Remove Sprint Crosshair on for every character, so nobody gets the sprint arrow.
Survivor Options - every survivor gets their own section:
- Use Vanilla Sprint Crosshair - turns the mod off for that survivor, so their crosshair is replaced by the sprint crosshair like the base game. The options below are ignored for them when this is on.
- Remove Sprint Crosshair - keep the normal crosshair while sprinting with no arrow.
- Use Generic Sprint Arrow - use the plain arrow instead of a survivor's custom sprint crosshair. Only shown for survivors that have one (Operator and some modded survivors), to show things like Operator's primary-charge display.
- Scale - size of the arrow (1 = vanilla sprint crosshair size).
- Vertical Offset - pixels above the crosshair (negative = below).
- Horizontal Offset - left/right nudge in pixels (0 = centered).
- Tilt - rotation in degrees (positive = clockwise).
- Color Crosshair - while sprinting, tint the crosshair itself (not the arrow) to the Crosshair Sprint Color.
- Increase Spread While Sprinting - visually spreads the crosshair a little more while sprinting. Purely cosmetic, it does NOT change your real spread.
- Spread Increase Multiplier - how much extra spread to show (1 = the default amount). Applies whether spread is on from this survivor's toggle or from Increase Spread For All Characters.
Bodies that aren't survivors (like Heretic or Remote Operation Drones) use the Other Characters section.
