Menu Hotkey
A MelonLoader mod for Cursed Words. Hold M for one second, from anywhere in the game — mid-run, in the shop, on the character select screen — and you're taken back to the main menu.
The trip uses the game's own scene transition (the same call the settings menu's return button makes), so the shutter animation plays and everything flows exactly as if you'd clicked your way there.
Settings
In UserData/MelonPreferences.cfg, category MenuHotkey:
MenuKey: the key to hold (defaultM).HoldSeconds: how long to hold it, in seconds (default1).
The hold timer doesn't run while you're typing in a text field, so entering the letter into a search bar never triggers it.
Install
Install with your mod manager from Thunderstore, or drop MenuHotkey.dll into the game's Mods folder manually. Requires MelonLoader.
