Mag-Fed Machineguns

Early Machineguns with detachable mags were used as part of the “walking fire” strategy of suppressing enemies on the move, or else they were used as a stopgap measure of helping to lock down a newly captured trench while the heavier Machineguns hadn’t yet arrived.
