README

Enemy Respawn HUD

See active enemies and individual respawn countdowns directly in R.E.P.O.'s HUD.

Features

  • Compact layout at the middle-right of the screen, with R.E.P.O.'s HUD font and a translucent background.
  • Automatic text sizes, column spacing and row limits based on screen space and enemy names.
  • Respawn countdowns appear first, ordered by the next enemy due to return.
  • Color changes and a short SOON warning during the final seconds before respawn.
  • Repeated enemy types use compact numbers such as #1 and #2.
  • Extra enemies are summarized with +N MORE when the list exceeds the available space.
  • Visible during levels, including while TAB is held; hidden in menus, lobbies and the shop.
  • Clear status messages while waiting for enemy data or when no enemies are tracked.
  • No configuration file or manual layout settings required.

Multiplayer

The host supplies enemy states to clients through RepoSteamNetworking. The host and every player who wants to see the HUD need this mod and its dependencies installed. Players joining an ongoing level receive the next host update automatically.

Dependencies

  • BepInExPack 5
  • Rune580-REPO_SteamNetworking_Lib 0.1.2

Installation

Install with Thunderstore Mod Manager or r2modman and let the manager install the dependencies.

For manual installation, install the dependencies first, then copy the package's BepInEx folder into the R.E.P.O. game directory. Keep only one installed copy of EnemyRespawnHUD.dll.

Configuration files left by older versions are ignored; this version adjusts the HUD automatically.
