Citizen Database Search
A BepInEx (mod loader) plugin for Shadows of Doubt. Search the citizens database by traits. Press Traits on the database screen, click the traits you know (sex, height, build, hair, eyes, blood type, age and more) and the list shrinks to the people who match. No commands to type, and it works with a controller.
Works with Government Database Rework by NightOwl, highly recommended. It makes the database itself much better, and the trait search sits right on top of it. Both work on their own too.
Prefer a terminal? Try Government Terminal by Aion9, which filters the database with typed commands.

What it does
- A Traits button next to the on-screen keyboard swaps it for a panel of trait buttons.
- Click to cycle: each button steps through the values the game uses, for example Hair: any, then each hair colour in turn. The list of records updates right away.
- Combine as many traits as you like: only citizens matching all of them stay in the list.
- FROM CASE fills in the traits you already have evidence for in the open case.
- CLEAR resets every trait, DONE brings the keyboard back.
- Detective mode (optional): only traits you have evidence for in the open case can be picked. Off by default, so every trait is free to pick.
Config
After one launch, edit BepInEx/config/sm3gm.sod.citizensearch.cfg with the game closed.

Install
Use Thunderstore Mod Manager or r2modman and install as normal. BepInEx is installed automatically.
To install by hand:
- Install BepInExPack IL2CPP version 6.0.755.
- Put
SoDCitizenSearch.dllinBepInEx/plugins/CitizenDatabaseSearch/inside your existingBepInExfolder.
