Turn Speed Fix - Steady Turning
A BepInEx (mod loader) plugin for Shadows of Doubt. Controller turning is the same speed at any frame rate. No more crawling turns in a big, busy city and whiplash in an empty room.

What it does
- Steady turning: the game turns the view a fixed amount every frame while you hold the stick. At 30 fps you turn half as fast as at 60, and at 120 fps twice as fast. So turning slows down exactly where the game is already struggling, in big cities and crowded streets. This mod turns by time instead of by frame, so a full turn takes the same time at any frame rate.
- Your speed stays yours: the game's own controller sensitivity setting still works as before.
- Mouse untouched: only controller turning changes.
Tested from 15 to 120 fps.
Config
After one launch, edit BepInEx/config/sm3gm.sod.steadyturning.cfg with the game closed.

Install
Use Thunderstore Mod Manager or r2modman and install as normal. BepInEx is installed automatically.
To install by hand:
- Install BepInExPack IL2CPP version 6.0.755.
- Put
SoDSteadyTurning.dllinBepInEx/plugins/TurnSpeedFix/inside your existingBepInExfolder.
Pairs well with Controller Fix, which makes every click on a keypad, phone or elevator count once and fixes the map floor buttons, and Quick Menu, one menu for all my mods on D-pad Down.
