CHANGELOG

Changelog

1.1.0

  • New Teams mode (off by default): 2v2, P1 + P2 vs P3 + P4 with P1 and P3 as captains. Turn it on with the new TEAMS option in GAME OPTIONS. Teammates can't hurt each other (bullets go through them), a round ends when one team is left, one win counter per team, the win text is in the captain's color and the match ends with "TEAM RED WINS". Teammates spawn on the same side. Each team wears a matching pair of colors (yellow/orange, blue/cyan, red/dark red, green/lime, purple/pink); with PaintCan 1.3.0 the captains pick their pair at the paint can.

1.0.4

  • The memory fix from 1.0.3 now also catches the old lobby after a RESTART in the middle of a round while controllers come and go (it was freed one restart later).

1.0.3

  • Fixed a memory leak in the game itself: every finished match (and every RESTART) kept the old lobby in memory, about 100 MB each time, never freed. Long sessions now stay at the same memory. Plays exactly like 1.0.2.

1.0.2

  • Maintenance release: plays exactly like 1.0.1.

1.0.1

  • After a match everyone comes back to the lobby in the same player slots as before, bots included (with Enhanced Bots 1.2.3), even when a bot sat between two players.
  • Fixed: restarting or opening the level editor from the pause menu during the winner's banner left the banner on screen for a few seconds, and the editor could stay in slow motion.
  • Fixed: pausing during the winner's banner left the banner on top of the pause menu's buttons. It now hides while paused and comes back when you resume.
  • Fixed: with SHOW WINS on CORNERS, the corner counter now shows the match-winning round too.
  • With PaintCan 1.2.1 or newer, a player wearing a pattern gets it in their score bar number too.
  • The score bar does much less work every frame (no more throwaway memory each frame, which the game's old runtime has to clean up in small hitches).
  • A round end that another mod calls off no longer counts as a win.
  • Shorter setting descriptions, easier to read on Menu Overhaul's MODS page.

1.0.0

  • First release.
