CHANGELOG
Changelog
0.1.5
Fixed
- The Warband skill's description ran off the bottom of the skills tooltip and over the skills behind it.
- It also still described the old sharing rules. You keep half of your own experience at every level; the skill raises only what you take from your warband.
0.1.4
Fixed
- The warband panel showed no Warband level on the leader's row or on your own. Every row now shows it.
0.1.3
Changed
- You now always keep half of your own experience while a warband member is near you, at every Warband level. The skill no longer reduces what you give up.
- The Warband skill instead raises only what you receive from each nearby member, from half of theirs at level 0 to all of it at level 100. A full warband is now worth much more than a pair.
- The Warband skill levels considerably more slowly.
Notes
ShareFloorandShareCeilinghave been replaced byKeepOwn,ReceiveFloorandReceiveCeiling. Old values are ignored and can be deleted from the config file.
0.1.2
Fixed
- The
hird_nameplatereport listed parts as missing on a healthy nameplate, and did not check the one thing that causes nameplates to freeze. It now reports the real fault.
0.1.1
Fixed
- Every member's Warband level read 0 in the panel. It now updates while you play.
- The Promote and Remove buttons overlapped the health bar and the status text.
- The party list appeared on the title screen and the character select screen.
Changed
- The Warband skill levels a quarter as fast. Level 50 now takes about four hours with one member nearby rather than one.
Added
hird_nameplate, a diagnostic command for reporting problems with player nameplates.
Notes
- Everyone needs 0.1.1, including the server. Warbands do not work between 0.1.0 and 0.1.1, and both sides will say so.
- Existing config files keep the old Warband levelling speed. Delete
WarbandGainPerSecondfromgbv.valheim.hird.cfgto take the new one.
0.1.0
Added
- Warbands of up to eight, with a panel on F7.
- Invite by typing a name, or from a list of who is online.
- A warband list down the left of the screen: each member's name, health and distance.
- Skill experience is shared both ways with warband members within 60 metres, in the same skill it was earned in.
- A Warband skill that decides your share rate: half at level 0, all of it at 100.
- Leaders can remove members and pass the lead on. Anyone can leave.
- Settings for the warband list's size and position, and a test warband for setting it up on your own.
Notes
- Install on the server and on every client. A player without Hird cannot be invited and will not see a warband.
- A warband lasts while its leader is online. Anyone who goes offline leaves it, and if the leader goes offline it disbands.
