Snow Lantern * On Ice
By JayBird
Snowballs belong outdoors in the cold... BUT if you want them in any Valheim Biome except Ashlands then put them 'On Ice'.
This Valheim 1.0 compatibility mod lets a Snow Lantern remain in any biome when it is directly supported by a crafted Ice Block (piece_icecube). The exception follows the Ice Block: remove or melt it, and the lantern returns to normal vanilla wear.
What it changes
- Snow Lantern on an Ice Block: ignores periodic environmental/stability wear.
- Snow Lantern on dirt, stone, wood, or another surface: unchanged vanilla behavior.
- Ice Blocks: unchanged; they still follow Valheim's normal heat/melting rules.
- Other lights, fireplaces, building pieces, and direct attack damage: unchanged.

Installation
Install through r2modman/Thunderstore Mod Manager, or extract the included BepInEx folder into your Valheim installation. Do not keep an older SnowLanternOnIce.dll elsewhere under BepInEx/plugins.
Notes
The mod uses BepInEx and Harmony only; Jotunn is not required. Install it on every client that should see the intended behavior. Server installation is also recommended for dedicated servers.
