CHANGELOG

Changelog

2.2.5

  • Rename the Thunderstore package to MagicStaffTweakerClientOnly.
  • Update documentation to include local summon-count controls and ownership limitations.
  • Retain the user-tested 2.2.4 fixes and controls; plugin GUID, config filename and DLL filenames are unchanged.

2.2.4

  • Add Summons Per Cast (1–20, default 1) for Dead Raiser, Trollstav, Staff of the Wild, and Spirit Caller.
  • Add Ignore Dead Raiser Level Limit (default off) to bypass staff-quality/Blood Magic summon-count enforcement for locally owned skeletons following your player.
  • Preserve skeleton strength/star scaling, normal enforcement when off, and all previous client fixes.
  • New spawning controls affect local cast instances rather than shared spawn prefabs. Multiplayer ownership restrictions still apply.
  • Build, patch signature checks, and automated regression tests passed. These two new controls still require in-game testing.

2.2.3

  • Correct Summon Health's displayed/reset default using the vanilla summon prefab health.
  • Replace invalid legacy health placeholders while retaining positive custom values.
  • Resolve known summon prefabs when attack spawn references do not expose their health.
  • Keep all client-only 2.2.2 fixes, names, descriptions, and dependencies.
  • Earlier 2.2.2 fixes confirmed working in-game by the user. The new health default passed automated checks and still requires an in-game UI check.

2.2.2

  • Fix the client-only Projectile Damage Multiplier by scaling outgoing local staff hit damage instead of an absent projectile field.
  • Handle locally initialized AOEs that use their own damage, without applying the multiplier twice to inherited attack damage.
  • Preserve saved configuration values on subsequent launches and initialize only missing settings.
  • Prevent hidden summon settings from overriding vanilla walking/running speeds and damage scaling.
  • Ignore invalid summon health/cooldown values and recognize health inherited by Humanoid summons.
  • Avoid repeated multiplication of shared skeleton weapon damage when new summons equip it.
  • Keep the client plugin identity and configuration filename; server-required 2.3.3 is unchanged.
  • Build and automated checks completed; in-game multiplayer and skeleton targeting still require play testing.

2.2.1

  • Current tested client-only release.
  • Provides the lighter local/single-player Magic Staff Tweaker configuration set.
  • Keeps the client-only plugin separate from the server-authoritative multiplayer edition.
