Bifrost Connect

Bifrost Connect brings a streamlined, one-click dedicated server browser directly to the Valheim main menu. Stop searching through lists, typing IP addresses, or repeatedly copying and pasting passwords—hop straight into your favorite worlds with a single click.

• 🔄 Live Hot-Reload: Modify BifrostConnect_Servers.json at any time while the game is running. Clicking the BIFROST CONNECT button instantly reloads your servers from disk without restarting Valheim.
• 💻 100% Client-Side: Only needs to be installed on your client. Completely compatible with all vanilla and modded dedicated servers.

Configuration

When you first launch the game with Bifrost Connect installed, a template configuration file is automatically generated at:

BepInEx/config/BifrostConnect_Servers.json

(If using a mod manager like Gale or r2modman, access this via the Config editor tab in your profile.)

Installation

Via Mod Manager (Recommended)

1. Install r2modman or Gale.
2. Click Online and search for BifrostConnect.
3. Click Download with Dependencies.

Manual Installation

1. Ensure you have BepInExPack Valheim and Jötunn installed.
2. Download the BifrostConnect zip package.
3. Extract BifrostConnect.dll into your Valheim/BepInEx/plugins/ directory.

Requirements

• Valheim
• BepInExPack Valheim (v5.4.2202 or newer)
• Jötunn, the Valheim Library (v2.20.0 or newer)
