Megingjord Upgrades
Megingjord Upgrades expands Valheim's existing vanilla Megingjord through four quality tiers. It does not register a new item prefab, replace the belt, change run speed, or alter global movement limits.

The Megingjord tooltip shows the active tier, carry weight, material cost, and cart-load effect in English or German according to the selected game language.
Version 1.0.2 fixes cart-load reduction in multiplayer, including carts built by another player. The behavior was verified in single-player and on a user-hosted server.
Installation
Install with r2modman or Thunderstore Mod Manager. BepInEx is installed automatically as a dependency.
For a manual installation, install BepInExPack for Valheim first, then copy MegingjordUpgrades.dll to BepInEx/plugins/.
Multiplayer and Compatibility
- Install on the server or host and every participating client.
- Existing vanilla Megingjord items remain vanilla items and can be upgraded at a Forge.
- The mod changes the existing Megingjord recipe, its quality limit, carry-weight result, cart behavior, and tooltip only.
- It has no configuration file and no additional runtime dependencies besides BepInEx.
Third-party licenses / Credits
- This mod loads through BepInEx and uses its bundled Harmony library. They are runtime dependencies and are not bundled with this package.
- No third-party code or assets are included in this package.

Der Megingjord-Tooltip zeigt je nach eingestellter Spielsprache Englisch oder Deutsch die aktuelle Stufe, Traglast, Materialkosten und Wagenwirkung.
Version 1.0.2 behebt die Wagenentlastung im Mehrspieler, auch bei Wagen, die ein anderer Spieler gebaut hat. Das Verhalten wurde im Einzelspieler und auf einem vom Nutzer gehosteten Server geprüft.
Installation
Mit r2modman oder Thunderstore Mod Manager installieren. BepInEx wird als Abhängigkeit automatisch installiert.
Für die manuelle Installation zuerst BepInExPack für Valheim installieren und danach MegingjordUpgrades.dll nach BepInEx/plugins/ kopieren.
Mehrspieler und Kompatibilität
- Auf Server beziehungsweise Host und allen teilnehmenden Clients installieren.
- Bereits vorhandene Vanilla-Megingjords bleiben Vanilla-Gegenstände und können an einer Schmiede verbessert werden.
- Die Mod verändert nur das bestehende Megingjord-Rezept, die maximale Qualität, Traglast, Wagenverhalten und den Tooltip.
- Es gibt keine Konfigurationsdatei und außer BepInEx keine weitere Laufzeitabhängigkeit.
Drittanbieter-Lizenzen / Credits
- Die Mod wird über BepInEx geladen und verwendet dessen mitgelieferte Harmony-Bibliothek. Beide sind Laufzeitabhängigkeiten und werden nicht mit diesem Paket ausgeliefert.
