Pterodactyl Egg Server-Side Modpack
Server-side performance and networking base pack for Valheim dedicated servers, built for the Pterodactyl Valheim BepInEx Egg.
Vanilla clients can connect normally and do not need to install anything.
If you're running a dedicated Valheim server through Pterodactyl, this pack is intended to be a good default even if you otherwise play completely vanilla Valheim.
Why use it?
This pack installs:
- FiresGhettoNetworking — improves Valheim's dedicated-server networking, queues, buffering, adaptive send rates, and other server-side behavior.
- FiresSteamworksPatcher — extends the Steamworks and ZDO networking limits used by FiresGhettoNetworking.
- BepInExPack Valheim — required plugin framework.
Most benefits work entirely server-side and are transparent to vanilla clients.
Players who also install the included networking mods can get additional client-side improvements such as compression and receive-side tuning. See the individual mod READMEs for the full feature set and configuration options.

The official Valheim BepInEx Pterodactyl Egg can automatically install Thunderstore modpacks.
Copy this package's Dependency string from Thunderstore and enter it as the Egg's ModPack (V_MODPACK) value, then reinstall the server.
