# GrimNeedsChainsTK
level 1 forge plus 1 Iron equals 2 chains. Yay!
Why you ask? Well let me tell you a tale:
My buddy Grimzerk decided he desperately needed chains to craft "wraith bait" or whatever galaxy-brain Swamp voodoo he was cooking up. Or he was using wraith bait to get chains or something IDK what he was talking about. I just know he said he needed chains. Naturally, I hit up our other friend TK like, *"Bro, Grim needs chains bad, you got any?"*
TK immediately shoots back: *"I don't have chains, this is literally my first time playing this game, you dumbass."*
Fair point. But I also violently despise wandering through the pitch-black Swamp at night just to get jumped by flying blue bedsheets. So instead of doing the sensible thing, I decided to write a custom mod and force the Forge to just spit out chains like a normal blacksmith station.
Right in the middle of me neck-deep in my project, Grim hits the group chat with: *"YO, I'm out here fighting wraiths right now, if you guys get your asses over here it'll go way faster!"*
TK and I drop everything. *"Say less, on our way."* We sprint through the trees, stamina bars wheezing, ready to rescue our boy.
We arrive on the scene like the cavalry, only for Grim to instantly sprint past us in the opposite direction yelling: *"LMAO I didn't actually need help, you guys are trash, get baited."*
We turned around and walked back to base in absolute silence.
I finished compiling the mod the next day. By that point, Grim didn't even need chains anymore. But maybe you do. And when Grim inevitably runs out again three days from now, this exists.
Go hit the forge and make your damn chains.
