AttackCancel
Instantly cancel attacks into vanilla block or dodge transitions. Block-only cancellation ends the attack immediately; Block+Jump uses Valheim's normal dodge behavior.

Attack Cancel/Counter
Instantly cancel an active attack into Valheim's normal defensive controls.
Features
- Press Block during an attack to immediately cancel the attack and enter the normal block/parry state.
- Press Block + Jump during an attack to immediately cancel the attack and perform Valheim's normal directional dodge.
- Does not add a separate dodge control.
- Debug logging is disabled by default.
- No configuration is required for normal use.

- BepInExPack Valheim 5.4.2350 or newer compatible release
Installation
Install with Thunderstore Mod Manager, r2modman, Gale, or extract the package into your Valheim profile.
The plugin is installed as:
BepInEx/plugins/AttackCancel/AttackCancel.dll
Configuration
After first launch, BepInEx creates BepInEx/config/AttackCancel.cfg.
General / Mod Enabled — enables or disables the mod.
Debug / Debug Messages — enables diagnostic messages. Default: false.
