Feastgut Relic
Make room for a feast. Feastgut Relic adds an enchanted stomach relic to Haldor's shop after Yagluth is defeated. Consume it once to permanently unlock a fourth food slot for your character.
Features
- Four different foods with the game's normal durations and bonuses.
- A fourth slot with the same empty background as the original food slots.
- A permanent character upgrade; additional relics do not unlock more slots.
- A Norse fantasy inventory icon and a simple custom 3D stomach model when dropped.
- Default price of 2,000 coins, configurable and synchronized from the server.
- Matching mod versions required on server and clients through Jotunn.
The relic becomes available when Yagluth is defeated in the current world. Using it also requires that world unlock. Haldor hides the relic after your character has used one.
Installation
Install with Thunderstore Mod Manager or r2modman. The package declares BepInExPack Valheim and Jotunn as dependencies.
For a manual installation, extract the ZIP and merge its BepInEx folder into your mod profile. The plugin is BepInEx/plugins/RomsligMage/RomsligMage.dll.
Multiplayer
Install the same version on every client and the host/server, including dedicated servers. Restart after updating. The server's Haldor price is synchronized to clients and controlled by administrators. The fourth slot and upgrade belong to each character individually.
Live multiplayer validation is still pending. See MULTIPLAYER_TEST.md for the two-player test checklist. Matching versions are enforced, but this does not replace testing your particular server and mod combination.
Updating from Romslig Mage or Jotun's Stomach
Feastgut Relic continues the same mod. Remove the old manually installed plugin or old mod-manager package before installing this one; keep only one copy of RomsligMage.dll. Do not delete your character data or configuration.
The original DLL name, plugin GUID, item prefab ID and save key are retained so existing stomach items and upgrades remain recognizable. The configuration file is still BepInEx/config/tk.valheim.romsligmage.cfg.
All players and the server must update to v0.2.3 together.
Compatibility and testing
Purchase and four-food consumption were confirmed by the user in v0.2.1. The fourth-slot implementation has passed 14 automated scene graph regression checks. Version 0.2.3 builds against the locally installed Valheim assemblies; its network compatibility attribute has been verified in the compiled DLL.
The latest HUD appearance and live online multiplayer have not yet been verified in game. Mods that replace the food HUD or food limits may conflict. Unknown food-limit patches or unsupported HUD layouts block consuming the relic.
Uninstalling
Let all food expire while the mod is active, save your character and exit before removing it. The fourth slot requires the mod. Back up your character before testing or uninstalling.
