This mod requires the following mods to function
denikson-BepInExPack_Valheim
BepInEx pack for Valheim. Preconfigured with the correct entry point for mods and preferred defaults for the community.
Preferred version: 5.4.2351ValheimModding-Jotunn
Jötunn (/ˈjɔːtʊn/, 'giant'), the Valheim Library was created with the goal of making the lives of mod developers easier. It enables you to create mods for Valheim using an abstracted API so you can focus on the actual content creation.

InventoryLimit
Set a server-wide main inventory limit of 10–64 slots. Default: 32.
Made for modpacks that improve the interface but add extra storage. Reduce the main inventory to compensate and keep more of vanilla Valheim's inventory challenge.
SeneaL UI is optional. Tested in game with SeneaL UI 1.1.6; other mod combinations have not been tested.
Install and configure
- Install InventoryLimit with BepInExPack Valheim, Jötunn, and Configuration Manager through your mod manager. For a local ZIP, use Settings → Install local mod.
- Install the same InventoryLimit version on all players and on the dedicated server, if used. Replace older copies.
- Open F1 → InventoryLimit → Inventory → Slots.
The host's limit syncs to everyone, including when hosting from your own PC. Only the host and authorized server administrators can change it.
How it works
- Counts main inventory cells, including the eight hotbar cells. A limit of 10 means one full row and two more cells.
- With SeneaL UI 1.1.6, separate food, equipment, action, key, wallet, and quiver slots stay outside the limit. Vanilla armor still counts.
- Shrinking moves items into available cells without dropping them. If too many stacks remain, temporary overflow keeps them safe until you remove the excess. Upgrades may be paused until the inventory fits.
- Applies the main-grid limit at runtime; it does not rewrite other mods' configuration files. Priority over every inventory mod is not guaranteed.
Compatibility
The optional SeneaL adapter supports exactly 1.1.6. Other SeneaL versions disable the limit.
Standalone mode blocks unsupported special-slot layouts for recovery: Equipment and Quick Slots, AzuExtendedPlayerInventory, ExtraSlots, and BetterArchery with its quiver enabled. Restore the previous setup and empty its special slots before changing those mods. SeneaL's own BetterArchery integration is retained.
Before removing inventory mods
Back up your character and world. Before removing SeneaL, move all special-slot contents into chests, save, and exit. Before removing InventoryLimit, return to 32 slots and empty any cells beyond the first 32. If inventory access is blocked, restore the previous mod setup before continuing.
