Archer Quiver Slot adds one dedicated equipment slot to ExtraSlots for the Shadow, Frost and Misty quivers from Vikings Archer. Discover a supported quiver to unlock the slot, then let Vikings Archer handle its equipment effects, appearance and ammunition as usual.

Requires Vikings Archer 1.2.1, ExtraSlots 1.2.12 and BepInExPack Valheim 5.4.2350. The two mod versions are checked exactly. Install on each player's client; the dedicated server does not need this helper. Initial test release: startup registration is verified; equipping, ammunition use and save/rejoin still await the maintainer's gameplay check.

YOUR KIT / WHAT IT DOES

• Adds one Quiver cell through ExtraSlots' custom equipment API.
• Accepts Vikings Archer's Shadow, Frost and Misty quivers.
• Follows ExtraSlots' discovery check and Vikings Archer's Quiver Slot setting.
• Leaves equipping, status effects, the back visual, arrows and quiver contents with Vikings Archer.

This is a slot bridge for those three items. It adds no quivers, recipes, tome slot, ammunition system or keybind. It does not patch game methods or rewrite inventory/save data itself. Other mods' quivers are not supported.

AzuExtendedPlayerInventory is incompatible with this helper. Use ExtraSlots as the equipment-slot provider. Do not also assign these quivers to a generic ExtraSlotsCustomSlots cell. ExtraSlotsCustomSlots is optional, not a required dependency.

READY THE QUIVER / INSTALLATION

1. Close Valheim and select the profile you play with in your mod manager.
2. Install ArcherQuiverSlot and the dependency versions listed above.
3. Launch the modded game. Keep Vikings Archer's Quiver Slot feature enabled.
4. Craft or pick up a supported quiver. Once ExtraSlots recognizes its discovery, the Quiver cell becomes available.

The earliest supported item is the Shadow Quiver, crafted at Vikings Archer's Archery Table. Its recipe and progression belong to Vikings Archer and may differ with server settings. An empty quiver cell before discovery is not required to be visible.

Each friend who wants this slot needs the helper on their own client. No new world is required. Keep a character backup while testing this initial release.

Manual installation: install the dependencies first, then copy the package's plugins/ArcherQuiverSlot folder into BepInEx/plugins. Keep only one ArcherQuiverSlot.dll.

Coming from the local test ZIP? With Valheim and your manager closed, replace the locally imported helper with the Thunderstore-managed package. Both use the same plugin ID and slot ID. Do not keep both copies.

Removal or changing equipment providers: first unequip the quiver into ordinary inventory, save and quit. Then uninstall the helper. Removing a slot while it still holds equipment has not been gameplay-tested.

FIELD NOTES / SETTINGS AND TROUBLESHOOTING

This helper has no config file. Use Vikings Archer's Quiver Slot setting and your normal ExtraSlots layout settings.

No slot: confirm you launched the correct profile, discovered a supported quiver, enabled the Archer slot setting and have capacity for another ExtraSlots custom slot. Look in BepInEx/LogOutput.log for:

Registered one discovery-gated quiver slot.

After a dependency update: a version other than Vikings Archer 1.2.1 or ExtraSlots 1.2.12 makes this release skip slot registration. Review compatibility before updating either dependency, especially while a quiver is equipped. The manifest dependency list does not prevent later updates. Missing or older dependencies may instead cause a BepInEx dependency error.

Validation: Windows startup registration was observed in Valheim 1.0.15 in a dedicated-server session. 15 offline contract checks cover registration, discovery, item filtering and version/capacity guards. They do not simulate real inventory, ammunition or persistence. Those gameplay checks remain pending for this initial release.

For a report, include the game version, dependency versions, full BepInEx log, quiver name and the action that failed. Remove private server addresses or passwords before sharing a log.
