ExtraSlots: Misc Without QuickSlots
A small compatibility patch for shudnal's ExtraSlots 1.2.12.
It removes the blue lightning Quick Slots from the equipment panel while keeping both Misc slots available for keys, coins, trophies, fish and quest items.
What it changes
- Sets Amount of quick slots to
0. - Keeps Enable misc slots set to
true. - Removes ExtraSlots' internal requirement that at least one Quick Slot must exist before Misc slots can be used.
- Leaves food slots, ammo slots, equipment slots, progression and all unrelated ExtraSlots settings unchanged.
No complete ExtraSlots configuration file is bundled, so installing this package does not replace the rest of your personal configuration.
Installation with Gale
- Find ExtraSlots Misc Without QuickSlots in Gale.
- Select Download with dependencies.
- Fully restart Valheim.
ExtraSlots 1.2.12 is installed automatically as a dependency.
For multiplayer with synchronized ExtraSlots settings, install this patch on the dedicated server and on every client using ExtraSlots.
Important
This change is not applied hot. Restart Valheim and the dedicated server after installing, updating or disabling the patch.
If the patch is removed, set Amount of quick slots back to the value you want in the ExtraSlots configuration.
