Void Crew VR UI Fix

Makes Void Crew's menus and HUD work in VR with UUVR (installed with Rai Pal): a sharp UI screen, head-locked HUD pieces you place yourself, aiming where you look, working terminals and pings, and a VR settings tab.

CHANGELOG

Changelog

3.14.1 (2026-10-18)

  • Terminals: the mouse pointer stays on the button it points at when you turn or move your head. The SteamVR overlay now moves with your head's position, like the game world does.
  • The UI screen's direction is measured while your head is still, so it lines up with the world exactly.

3.14.0 (2026-10-18)

  • New defaults from a tested setup: the SteamVR overlay, a UI screen 51° wide and 1.2 m away, a bigger mouse pointer, and every HUD piece placed around your view.
  • The first start switches UUVR to OpenVR (SteamVR), which the sharp SteamVR overlay needs.
  • RESTORE on the VR tab puts the VR settings and every Modify UI piece back to the defaults, without touching your other settings.

3.13.0 (2026-10-18)

  • Modify UI window (button at the top of the VR tab): place every HUD piece on its own, with a picture of your view.
  • Ship status, objectives, turret crosshair, turret ammo and range, weapon stats and the FPS counter can each follow your head.

3.12.3 (2026-10-18)

  • SteamVR overlay: menus no longer show far off to one side.

3.12.2 (2026-10-17)

  • The ping wheel's dark backdrop is hidden in VR.

3.12.1 (2026-10-17)

  • The ping wheel keeps head aim: you can look around while it is open, and the ping goes where you look.

3.12.0 (2026-10-17)

  • Turrets aim where you look; the turret readouts follow your head.

3.11.1 (2026-10-17)

  • The turret crosshair matches where the turret shoots; the turret's dark screen border is hidden in VR.

3.11.0 (2026-10-17)

  • Aim with your head: weapons, tools and "press E" interactions aim where you look.
  • The class ability joins the head-locked HUD.

3.10.0 (2026-10-17)

  • The player status HUD can follow your head, with position settings.

3.9.2 (2026-10-17)

  • Starts on any BepInEx and Harmony version; the DLSS fix is always on in VR.

3.9.1 (2026-10-17)

  • The mouse pointer sits on terminal screens; no doubled UI on the monitor.

3.9.0 (2026-10-17)

  • Terminal clicks work again; FPS counter in the headset; single-pass stereo removed.

3.8.1 (2026-10-17)

  • Terminal screens stay on their terminals in VR.

3.8.0 (2026-10-17)

  • Fixed the dark box over the UI; monitor picture on/off; frame-rate options.

3.7.0 (2026-10-17)

  • Clearer VR tab; toggles keep their state; control from SteamVR's VR View fixed.

3.6.2 (2026-10-17)

  • DLSS works in VR when other cameras draw first.

3.6.1 (2026-10-17)

  • Every VR tab shows current values; VR setting changes are logged.

3.6.0 (2026-10-17)

  • Experimental DLSS in VR (player camera only).

3.5.0 (2026-10-17)

  • Full-screen UI (death screen, spawn screen, fades) fills your whole view.

3.4.0 (2026-10-17)

  • VR tab in the game's Settings menu.

3.3.0 (2026-10-17)

  • No doubled UI on the monitor; terminal mouse aim lines up; control from SteamVR's VR View (for testing).

3.2.0 (2026-10-17)

  • The monitor shows the headset view with the UI, upright and wider.

3.1.0 (2026-10-17)

  • Monitor view with the UI; menu backdrop off by default; click diagnostics.

3.0.0 (2026-10-17)
