Kisame

Kisame Hoshigaki is a melee survivor. Samehada is in his right hand. The blade heals him when it connects, and the water he throws keeps moving after it leaves his hand.

Install

The Thunderstore app and r2modman install this package and every dependency in manifest.json.

To install by hand:

1. Install BepInExPack and the R2API modules named in manifest.json.
2. Copy plugins/KisameSurvivor into BepInEx/plugins.

Seekers of the Storm and Alloyed Collective are not required.

Multiplayer

Every player in the lobby needs this mod, including the host. Every player sees the sharks fly; the host decides what they hit, what Great Shark Bullet swallows, and applies Samehada's healing, Drain and Water Body's slow. Tested solo (as host) only.

Playing

Select Kisame on the survivor grid. There is one skin, Hidden Mist.

Default binds are the usual ones. Primary is M1, secondary is M2, utility is Shift, and special is R.

Skills

Passive — Samehada's Appetite. A direct Samehada hit heals Kisame for 10% of that hit, or 5% against a boss or champion. The bite marks the target with Drain for 5 seconds. Item procs do not heal.

Primary — Samehada. Hold to chain four swings: 240%, 240%, two cuts of 145% (290% total), then a 440% bite that applies Drain. The swings barely push enemies, so the rest of the combo stays in reach. Stop attacking for a second and the combo starts over.

Secondary — Water Shark Bomb. Three sharks. Each one bends toward a nearby enemy and deals 340% damage in a small blast when it connects or splashes on terrain. Cooldown 4.5 seconds.

Utility — Water Body. An 18 meter rush over 0.5 seconds that hits everything it passes for 340% damage. Kisame cannot be hit during the rush, and the wake slows enemies by 45% move speed for 1.6 seconds. If the rush touches a Drained enemy, the cooldown is refunded. Cooldown 6 seconds.

Special — Great Shark Bullet. A fast shark that grows as it travels and with every enemy projectile it swallows, up to 2.5 times its starting size. It damages nothing before the burst, and it bursts when it reaches an enemy, hits the world, or runs out of travel. The burst is 1200% damage at its starting size, up to 1750% when fully grown, and a full flight with nothing eaten bursts for about 1380%. It reaches about 35 meters at full flight; the burst radius is 5.5 meters times its size. Cooldown 12 seconds.

What this build is

Everything comes from Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4. The model, textures, animation clips, voice, sound effects, effect meshes and portrait are the game's own, converted at build time. Samehada rides on his back and is drawn into his hand for the combo, as in Storm.

Voice is Japanese by default. Change VoiceLanguage to EN in BepInEx/config/com.woo.kisamesurvivor.cfg for the English dub.

Unofficial fan work. Naruto, Kisame Hoshigaki and the Storm 4 assets belong to their owners (Masashi Kishimoto, Shueisha, CyberConnect2, Bandai Namco). Nothing here is for sale.

Remove

Delete BepInEx/plugins/KisameSurvivor, or uninstall the package in r2modman.
