01 overview
Updated a week agoTyrnel Mods
Twelve things Grain Rot never quite got round to, in one package. A live map of the dungeon, one coin that pays the whole lift fare, brighter sparkle on loot worth carrying, enemies that keep being a threat the deeper you go, and eight smaller repairs to places the game makes you repeat yourself.
Everything starts switched off
This is deliberate and it is the first thing worth knowing. A pack that switches itself on changes your game before you have seen a list of what changed, and if something then behaves oddly there is nothing to compare against. So the first run after installing is Grain Rot exactly as it shipped.
Open TYRNEL MODS in the main menu and turn on what you want. Each switch carries a description of what it does and, more usefully, what it does not.
Who needs to have it
Most of the pack runs on the host. If the person hosting has it installed, nobody else needs it - they get the shorter lift waits, the automatic gold, the coin slot and the enemy scaling without installing anything.
Two features are drawn on your own screen and are yours whether you host or not: the map and the loot sparkle.
The host has the final say. A switch turned off on the hosting machine is off for the whole lobby, which is the point rather than a limitation.
