Empress LateJoin v2.4.0

A host-only late join mod for REPO that lets players join during a run, not just from the shop lobby.

What this mod does

Empress LateJoin lets players connect while the host is already in a level.

• Players can join on any level, not just the shop lobby
• If someone joins mid-run, they may see a loading screen, black screen, or the level from a weird camera view
• This is expected
• They are not fully spawned into the run yet
• They just need to wait until the next level switch
• Once the level changes, waiting players are pulled in and spawned properly
• Existing players may see late joiners floating, hovering, or not moving before the level switch
• That is also expected
• It does not mean the mod failed

Important Notes

• 99% of console warnings/errors during late joining are harmless
• Only report real issues that affect gameplay, and I will fix them
• Only the host needs the mod
• Clients do not need it installed
• Late joiners should wait until the next level switch before assuming anything is broken
• Floating players before the level switch are normal
• Weird camera views, loading screens, or black screens before the level switch are normal
• This works on any level handoff, not just the shop lobby
• Ignore console warnings and errors unless there is an actual gameplay issue
• 99% of console warnings/errors during late joining are harmless
• Only report real issues that affect gameplay, and I will fix them
