HackIt turns REPO into a live in-run hacking system where players can target valuables, shop items, extraction points, carts, and enemies through a custom Empress popup.
It adds host-authoritative hack actions, synced hack progress, and multiplayer-safe results so both singleplayer and online runs feel clean and consistent.

What This Mod Does
- Adds an in-game hacking popup for supported REPO targets.
- Lets players hack valuables, shop items, extraction points, carts, and enemies.
- Uses host-authoritative logic so multiplayer stays synced properly.
- Supports both singleplayer and online play.
- Shows synced hacking progress with a visible hack bar.
- Prevents the same target from being hacked more than once.
Hack Targets And What Each Hack Does
Valuables
Valuables can roll one of these hacks:

Boost ValueIncreases the valuable's final sale value. -
JackpotGreatly boosts the valuable's value for a bigger payout. -
FeatherMakes the valuable lighter to carry.
If the hack fails, the valuable can crash in value instead.
Shop Items
Shop items can roll one of these hacks:

Discount 50%Cuts the shop price in half. -
Almost FreeDrops the price to a tiny fraction of the normal cost. -
Markup x2Doubles the price instead.
If the hack fails, the item's price can become worse instead of better.
Extraction Points
Extraction points can roll one of these hacks:

Payout x1.5Increases extraction payout by 1.5x. -
Payout x2Doubles extraction payout. -
Payout x3Triples extraction payout.
If the hack fails, the extractor payout can drop instead.
Carts
Carts can roll one of these hacks:

Feather Pull 60sMakes the cart lighter and easier to move for 60 seconds. -
Handle Lock 60sDisrupts the cart for 60 seconds.
If the hack fails, the cart can get hit with Axle Jam.
Enemies
Enemies can roll one of these hacks:

Pacify 45sDisrupts enemy aggression and chase behavior for 45 seconds. -
Freeze 12sFreezes the enemy for 12 seconds.
If the hack fails, the hack is wasted and the enemy does not get the helpful effect.
How It Works
HackIt adds a target-based popup that appears while you are in a level.
That means:
- you look at a valid target
- the popup shows available hack options
- a player starts the hack
- the hack runs through a timed progress bar
- the host resolves the result
- all players receive the synced outcome
The system is designed so the host controls the real result, while clients still get a responsive hacking UI.

Notes
- This mod works in both singleplayer and multiplayer.
- Multiplayer hacks are host-authoritative by design.
- Clients can request hacks, but the host decides the final result.
- Hack results are synced so players see matching outcomes in the run.
- Targets can only be hacked once.
- Hacks take time to complete and do not resolve instantly.
- When you FREEZE Or PPACIFY an Enemy, the hosts console will show errors - IGNORE THEM, they do not matter. - That is just the game freaking out due to it's behaviour swapping temp
