HoverHauler
Turns the Hauler and Scout into hovercraft: they float over the floor, never fall into holes, stay upright, rise with Jump and sink with Crouch. Indestructible mode (on by default) stops them breaking or exploding.

Hover Hauler
Turns R.E.P.O's Hauler and Scout vehicles into hovercraft.
What it does
- Hovers. While someone drives, the vehicle floats about half a metre off the floor. Steering and speed work just like on the ground, with no fall damage.
- Up and down. Hold Jump to rise and Crouch to sink (whatever keys you have bound to them), from 0.25 m up to 4 m. It never rises into a ceiling.
- Never falls into holes. It follows stairs, ramps and slopes, but when the floor suddenly drops away (a pit, a gap, a ledge) it keeps its height and floats across. To come down a ledge on purpose, hold Crouch at the lowest height.
- Always upright. It can turn, but it can't tip over or roll onto its side.
- Parked: it settles gently to the ground. Pushed over a real hole, it stays floating at floor height instead of falling in. Someone who isn't riding it can still pick it up and move it around.
- Indestructible mode (on by default): the battery bars - the vehicle's durability - never go down from crashes or hitting enemies, so it can't catch fire or explode. Charging still works.
Multiplayer
- The host needs this mod. The host runs every vehicle's physics, so hovering, the hole protection, staying upright and indestructible mode all work for everyone in the host's game.
- The driver needs it to change height (Jump/Crouch). A driver without it still hovers and can't fall into holes, but stays at the default height.
- Everyone else doesn't need it - they just see a floating Hauler. Players without any mods can still join.
Settings
BepInEx/config/ricketywrecked.repo.hoverhauler.cfg, or REPOConfig in-game. Restart the game after changing.

For the technically curious
- The Hauler is
Item Vehicle Semiscooterand the ScoutItem Vehicle Semiscooter Small(ItemVehicle); the master client runs their physics inFixedUpdate. - A sphere cast finds the floor. Rises and drops of up to 0.6 m are followed; a bigger drop holds the previous floor height. The height is held by predicting the vertical speed after the physics step from
Rigidbody.GetAccumulatedForce()and gravity, and adding exactly the velocity change needed. - While hovering, the game's
PerformGroundCheckreports the wheels as grounded, so the driving model and fall damage behave as on the ground. - Upright: X/Z rotation is frozen (and restored afterwards) and the vehicle is turned level keeping its heading.
- A parked vehicle is woken up (a still body falls asleep and ignores gravity) and its fall is capped at 2.5 m/s; over a hole (no floor, or one more than 3 m down) it's held at the old floor height.
- Drivers who aren't the host send their Jump/Crouch state to the host (raise-event 164); the host only accepts it from the vehicle's driver.
- Indestructible:
ApplyEnemyHitDurabilityLossis skipped, and any other drop inItemBattery.batteryLifeis put back right afterUpdateImpactDetection/Update.
