PerkinsTent
Carry your home wherever your adventures take you.
Inspired by Perkins's tent from Harry Potter, this small leather tent opens into a spacious interior that is bigger on the inside. Build and furnish your own portable base, store your supplies, and invite your friends inside.
Craft your tent
Craft 1 Tent Cloth at a level-one workbench using:
- 2 Surtling Cores
- 10 Greydwarf Eyes
- 20 Deer Hide
Use your hammer and select Perkins's Tent under Furniture to pitch it outdoors. Placing the tent consumes one Tent Cloth. Interact with the front entrance to step inside.
Make it your base
The interior starts unfurnished, ready for you to make it your own. Build workbenches, chests, beds and furniture with your hammer. Enjoy a warm, sheltered room, and claim a bed to respawn inside while your tent is pitched.
Your friends can enter your tent and join you in the same room. Each player can have one tent pitched at a time, with their own saved interior.
Pack up and move on
When everyone is outside, remove your tent with the hammer or use Shift + Interact at the front entrance. Pick up the returned Tent Cloth, carry it with you, and pitch your tent somewhere new.
Your built furniture and chest contents remain in your saved interior in that world. Moving the tent reconnects you to the same base. If you lose the cloth, craft a replacement to set up your packed tent again.
Only the owner can pack the tent, and it cannot be packed while someone is inside. You can build inside your tent, but you cannot place another tent inside it.
Requires BepInExPack Valheim and Jötunn on the server and every player's client.
