How to Join
Join my discord Venture Gaming to gain access to the connection information. The Valhiem Server section has all the specific channels for the server. If you cannot see these channels make sure you grab the role for it!
Theme
This sever is a slower progression and exploration focused server. You must defeat bosses either solo or in a group to make progress. Keeping the world looking natural and unexplored is encouraged. Read more about the changes below.
Introductory Rules & Guidelines
- Please always be respectful of others, both in the discord and in-game.
- Join at your own risk. We are not a PG server, but also do not enforce an age restriction to join.
- Owner reserves all rights to remove or ban players without notice. Troublemakers are not welcome here.
- If bases are abandoned or created in excessive amounts they are subjected to removal.
- Clear cutting forests is a crime.
- Have fun! That's an order.

Configurations
Modpack configurations
Some client side configurations have been included in the modpack download. Each time you update this modpack in the mod manager it will overwrite the configurations to these mods if you made changes. Make a backup of these files if you wish to restore them later if you accidentally overwrite them.
Gizmo
Hotkeys are changed from default. Snap divisions are set to vanilla's 8.

Hotkey was removed to prevent issues.
Clock
Shows both the day and in game time.
Noteworthy Gameplay Changes
Warning: This is a slower progression server!
- Bosses unlock every 100 in-game days. If you are ready to move on to the next biome's content early play on another server and check back later!
- Progression is enabled, you will not be able to use the next biome's items until the previous biome's boss is defeated!
- You cannot use boats until you defeat the first boss!
- Portaling metals will unlock over time as you defeat bosses.
- You will only lose up to 2 skill levels on death.
- You can only train skills to level 30 plus 10 for every boss defeated
Other changes include:
- Adding map pins to the cartography table is disabled by default, but you can re-enable them in the Asocial Cartography settings file.
- You cannot ping the map to reduce annoyances. Find another way to communicate.
- You must find the traders to unlock their map pins. Open those eyes!
- You can NOT deform the terrain. If you need more metals find a mining cave!
- Some crop yields are increased. Trees drop more seeds.
- Trees regrow if you leave the stumps!
- Smoke passes through build pieces with big holes in the design.
- Torches provide warmth at night.
- Serpents can spawn during the day!!!!!!
- Anyone sleeping will slowly speed up time. The more online players asleep the faster time moves.
- Paths provide a speed boost, connect your towns!
- Regular portals are disabled, you can build Travel Totems instead. Once you place them they are permanent!
- Note that all Totems found spawned in the world are public and can be unlocked by any player who finds them.

Gizmo
To rotate on the new axes hold LeftControl or LeftAlt. Reset the rotation with H
Plant Everything
Middle Mouse button to remove pickables like mushrooms.
Dumpster Fire
Trash items in your inventory by picking them up and hitting the Delete key or drag and drop things onto the new trash can between the health and weight indicators.
License Plate
Shift + E at the ship rudder or cart to rename.
Door Pull
LeftCtrl + E to pull open doors.
No Unlock Spam
U to dismiss the unlock messages.
Muted Sails
Y to toggle sail visibility.
Area Repair
LeftAlt when repairing to activate single repair mode.
Terrain Reset
LeftAlt when your tool is out to restore terrain.
Comfy Add All Fuel
LeftShift + E to batch add to smelters and furnaces.
No Grass
Not a hot key but an expanded option in the Valheim settings for vegetation.
