Jötunn (/ˈjɔːtʊn/, 'giant'), the Valheim Library was created with the goal of making the lives of mod developers easier. It enables you to create mods for Valheim using an abstracted API so you can focus on the actual content creation.
Preferred version: 2.29.2ZenDragon-ZenBossStone
Each player sees their own version of reality: The boss trophies that they see hung at the start temple depends on their individual progression. Boss loot only drops when sacrificing the trophy.

ProgressGuard
ProgressGuard gates Valheim's post-boss ambient roamers according to the least-progressed currently connected character.
Progression is recorded only when ZenBossStone processes a boss-trophy sacrifice. Every player within ZenBossStone's configured range advances to that boss tier. The server persists and synchronizes those records; the required client plugin applies the gate on the client that owns the spawn zone.
Existing characters are automatically backfilled from their exact ZenBossStone guardian-power keys the next time they spawn. This recovers prior boss-stone activations without granting progression from world-wide boss keys.
The default server-wide safety ceiling means an early character protects the whole active server from later-tier ambient roamers. Known managed creatures already present outside their native biome are removed when above that ceiling. Raids, bosses, tamed creatures, and native-biome enemies remain untouched.
By default it gates:
- post-Yagluth Fulings outside the Plains;
- post-Queen Seekers, Seeker Broods, and Ticks outside the Mistlands;
- post-Fader Charred outside the Ashlands.
Recognized future boss-key ambient entries fail safe instead of silently bypassing protection.
Requires BepInEx, Jotunn, and ZenBossStone on the server and every client.
