Dedicated Weapon Keys

A small quality-of-life BepInEx mod for Mycopunk that makes the Weapon 1 and Weapon 2 keybinds dedicated instead of cycling.

The Problem

By default, Mycopunk's Weapon 1 (1) and Weapon 2 (2) keybinds both cycle between your two weapons:

  • Pressing 1 while Weapon 1 is equipped switches to Weapon 2
  • Pressing 2 while Weapon 2 is equipped switches to Weapon 1

The Fix

With this mod:

  • Weapon 1 (1) always equips weapon slot 1
  • Weapon 2 (2) always equips weapon slot 2
  • Pressing the key for the already-equipped weapon does nothing (no accidental swap)

Scroll-wheel weapon switching is left unchanged.

Dependencies

  • Mycopunk (base game)
  • BepInEx - Version 5.4.2403 or compatible

Installing

Via Thunderstore (Recommended):

  1. Download and install via Thunderstore / r2modman
  2. The mod will be automatically installed to the correct directory

Manual Installation:

  1. Place DedicatedWeaponKeys.dll in your <Mycopunk Directory>/BepInEx/plugins/ folder
